In the middle of a mad dash last week to find stuff to post about for you guys, I came across a clip from the gay indie movie “eCupid*“, where the crystal blue eyed stare of one Houston Rhines penetrated through my Nyquil-induced haze long enough for me to take note of him and vow to find out more.

And pray I hadn’t hallucinated him into existence.

Well, now a week and a bottle or two of Nyquil later, here’s that “more”.

Ohio native Rhines, who turns 32 next week, has had bit parts for years on network TV shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, Castle and How I Met Your Mother.  But his role eCupid has put him front and center, mostly right now through the gay press, as the movie moves towards its late May DVD release.

Still, I’ve found out very little about Mr. Rhines this week, which ultimately is good because let’s just stop right here and forget about anything but looks. Rhines has a very fine inventory of assets.

Those eyes, of course, dominate everything, but since God was generous here, your eyes will move over the smooth face and body and the soft brown hair and easy (though not always present) smile marvel at the whole package.

Though such good looks are as aplenty in LA as sunshine, methinks we’re seeing a star in the its earliest formation, something that is certainly worth taking a look at and remembering when he lands that TV series or action hero role in a few years.  For us, finding Rhines gives me the excuse I’ve been waiting for to start what I hope is a regular column on hot, hunky guys in pop culture that I’m going to call, appropriately enough, MilkMan.

For me, I’m just thankful that I wasn’t hallucinating.

*I know as much about the movie as the clip and a few websites will inform me, so I have no idea if it’s good or not, but I do find the tagline genius: Love on the Download.
